Bryce Canyon is a small national park located in south-central Utah. The landscape is unique, filled with spires called hoodoos, slot canyons and natural amphitheaters - the colors of all of these range from deep reds to muted yellows and every imaginable color in between. The weather is moderate compared to the surrounding areas - it is not uncommon to see snow in the winter (great for cross country skiing and snowshoeing) and bright sunny skies all summer long (for some of the most spectacular hiking in the West).
